That's one of the reasons I always tried to answer as if the person was a new owner

It’s the best way to answer questions. What also would help is a system of breadcrumbs that you can easily copy paste so people know where to look in the admincp. The search is fine but you will need to learn where options are so you can navigate to it with ease.

It's also the terminology, we aren't all Bill Gates, I mean what is breadcrumbs except the mess around the toaster ?

Breadcrumbs is the name given to navigation through the system to show where you are. E.g. this page is Forums > TAZ Members Zone > Chit Chat > Internet and Technology > Xenforo Support Forum

It is a good way of showing where you are in a complex tangle of pages, and is named after the Hansel & Gretel story about following breadcrumbs.
