To clarify... it isn't required to ask for support, but if done, you are more likely to get a response from a wider range of XenForo admins.
Some of us will not answer support type questions unless we are fairly certain the person has a license for the script. Since you HAVE to have a validated license to post over at XF frequently the "warez boyz" will come to sites like this (or other admin sites) wanting to get help for their unlicensed copy - and that's why some of us will not post a reply for non-validated accounts. It pisses some people off - but the same as it's their choice to validate, it's those other admins choice to not help those that don't.

You haven't seen anything yet... I was trying to figure out how to say that and sound like Yoda but it's just not in the cards right now...
Nothing Yet . .. Have You Seen . ..

How's that? (Don't ask me why I capitalised every word.. it seemed like something Yoda would do).

What will happen if your xf site expires and you update it with latest xf version?

If your license expires and you run a newer version than what was valid when it expired, you are in violation of the terms and most likely your license will be invalidated and never able to be renewed...
And I don't know about others, but when I find someone that does that, they go onto my "Not just no, but hell no I won't help a POS like that" list.
