Wordpress to buy Tumblr for under $20M

From what I have heard so far. They are going to make tumblr specific themes in WordPress. So it seems like their theme market within tumblr would earn them some money for sure. They already got rid of adult content so I am guessing this way tumblr would be put across as medium alternative.

We could probably do with a less sucky alternatives to Medium tbh, although I won't hold my breath that Wordpress will be able to do it well.

WordPress is like swiss knife so they try to be alternative to every X out there. Considering medium has changed their TOS more than any other place out there. There are people who don't want to be there any more.
