I assume the OP was talking about forum platforms (vBulletin, Xenforo, etc.).
For Xenforo, PixelExit hands down in my opinion.
For vBulletin, it's hard to say. Many that used to be good have disappeared and moved on to other platforms. I like the Metro styles available from PixelGoose at ThemeForest but in general I find Themeforest/Envato to be very hit or miss. Some styles (and plugins/addons) there are good and some are dreadful; some sellers there provide acceptable to decent support and again some are just horrible. It definitely caveat emptor on that site.
I can't speak to other forum platforms - I have used some of them but not for years.
Sure. You must do your due diligence with ANY pre-made WP theme.Avoid most of the garbage on Envato/Themeforest, so many bundled addons which slow down your site big time.
Look for pro versions of popular free themes. I am working with Hueman Pro right now: https://presscustomizr.com/hueman-pro/

J.
But a lot of themes from the themeforest depend on the Visual composer and WPBakery which is painful to use. I'd recommend trying something like Oxygen Builder and the Elementor builder. You should select themes from ThemeLock or ThemeForest to get different templates to your website...
