Newspaper sites are the worse and CNet is bad too
I've got to agree with that. Some news sites are so heavily loaded with ads they often crash before they get to load a page. The only way to view them is with an ad-blocker.

Yep, news sites are just awful. It's so painful trying to look at these on my mobile. Then publishers of news sites whinge they are not getting advertising revenue because people are blocking ads. Or worse, block you if you have an adblocker. It's a shame when sites I used to love reading daily end up like this... tech news sites in particular.

The CEO/chairman of every company should be forced to read their own sites on a "middle of the road" mobile or on a slower broadband connection, or an older laptop.. then they might see the light.

In my case, nothing. I actually sell ad zones and have strict rules to keep them from being annoying. Also, because I'm using WordPress, I'm able to use a fantastic plugin called Advanced Ads. The developer does a good job of keeping them visible. Last time I checked, only 4% were blocked by ad blockers.

I used AdSense at one time and that sucked. It really made the forum seem cheap and users often complained about offensive and spammy ads.

Very Good Idea and I assume Google has also adapted to same mechanism, still researching before implying it.

Where does all the mystery arises for ad-block, why not CONTENT RICH SITES, ever complained it since this originate:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AdBlock
Since last few years max 2 or 3, we started talking about ad-blockers, its because CONTENT QUALITY HAS GONE DONE MASSIVELY..

When I started learning publishing business since late 1999s, I was born to Internet Business.
I used to work since 1991 a kid, as a child labor to feed my home.. (love those hard days, which still comes my up-till most where IT FIRMS)

They were GIANT SITES, with over 5000+ sites of networks ruling entire AMERICA..
NO FEAR, NO GOOGLE, NO LAWS, NO RULES, NOONE TO CATCH, MADE TRILLIONS IN THOSE AGES. FOR SURE.

But anyway, Because CONTENT QUALITY REAONS: Some actions were required and agree those were correct.

You may ask some questions, but not personal (only technical) if required.
