Travel and food niche ia good for discussion on forums. Can you share your experience?

I'd say it's pretty good but do you mean the food itself or food in restaurants? Because if the topic is restaurants, then it tends to be too wide of scope since users are coming from all places.

It's fairly easy to monetize, brands and businesses liberally offer perks like hostel stays and freebies with the expectation of a positive critic shared by influencers of any weight.

A forum might not be the best format compared to instagram, FB or a blog but it can certainly complement them.

It is really difficult to start a forum these days, the most difficult part is gain users. People tend to use Facebook groups for questions and answers and they can't see the benefits of how good forums are to keep the information organized.

Everyone of us assumes that Forum posting is just like a social media. I think that it is accepted but one thing is clear, forum posting is different from social media because there are many restrictions that forums possess. But it is also the same as social media, because we have to deal with a community of people.
