Thread "reminders"? (ie: reminder to change Classified prefix to "Sold")

Does anyone have any tips/ideas/suggestions for this?

My scenario:

• User creates thread in a Classified forum with Selling prefix.
• User closes out sale eventually.
• User doesn't remember to update thread to Sold prefix. I want to remind them to do this to prevent other users from assuming an item is still available.

Suggestions on a good way to go about this? Plugin or otherwise?

This solution may come across as overly simplistic but....When I used to moderate we would have a certain time frame, and if the OP left the thread hanging we would just post a "Thread Closed" on it. On another site we would simply lock the thing.

Yea, there are some addons that do this.

The issue is we already us ozzy47's addon to move "Completed" prefix threads to a "Completed" subforum.
So simply closing threads (1) wouldnt clean them out of the market, and (2) might leave users wondering if the item is still available.

I use one of Andy's addons and move the threads based on the last post in the thread.
