Im pulling like a really really old image as my icon on my bookmark on my phone , facebook is pulling my new logo. i have put every possible file type in the root to try to force phone icon but it wont change

Isn't it possible to clear it, similar to the laptops-desktops?

Files of that nature are best checked from another device, preferably one that hasn't been within a thousand miles of the site ever. Actually make that ten thousand miles. They can come back even if you do clear your cache.
