Server Move

In order to improve performance of the support board and simplemachines.org, the entire site is being moved to a new server. This should put an end to all of the "Due to the high stress on the server, the search has been temporarily and automatically disabled" messages, and also improve the speed of the forum. The server move was successful, although there are still a few problems, partly due to the new server not having as much memory as we had anticipated (we thought it had 1GB but it only has 512MB). Still, you should see an improvement in the speed.

I'm glad your move was successful. Are you still going to increase the RAM?

We are planning on it. Currently the memory usage is hovering in the mid to high 90s, so it's sort of a necessity.

It was supposed to have 1 GB, but I guess something went wrong when the server was built. Our provider will take care of it, I'm sure
