Resume XF Upgrade Via CLI?

I'm doing a test upgrade of an old 1.5 forum to the latest version 2.1.8. The server I'm working on was giving me an error when I tried to use command line (the error was "bash: php: command not found " BTW.) I'm just testing, so I decided to do a regular browser upgrade.

The browser upgrade has been stuck on "Upgrading... 2.1.0 Alpha, Step 17 " for several hours. I resolved the PHP issue on the server, I wonder if I can stop the browser upgrade and resume via CLI? Will the CLI upgrade pick up where the browser left off? Or do I need to re-import the 1.5 database and start over?

Never mind. It does resume (if anyone else is wondering.)

vBulletin did, and since XF was written by the same people, I would have expected it to do the same.
