Required hardware strength?

As I will obviously need to buy a Woltlab license soon, I'll also need a good webhoster. I don't really want to use any of my existing servers for that. So I was wondering how much CPU/RAM/disk space is needed to be able to run the board without too much performance drain.

Any experiences here?

Budget? If it's a new website with virtually next to no traffic a basic VPS at places such as DO, Linode, Vultr, Hetzner etc..

My hosting budget is $20 a month, for now. That limits the RAM offers, hence my question.

Any particular region for hosting? Hetzner have amazing prices on VPS's but they're based in Germany.

Preferably, the Netherlands. I saw prohoster which seems to be pretty decent?

Although I'm German, I'd like to avoid renting servers in Germany. We have really annoying laws affecting everyone who makes websites here.

I don't have any experience with Prohoster sorry, Scaleway is another provider that springs to mind.
