I have several sites which might have one new member every week and that is on a good week. There are others that get at least one new one a bad day and five to six on a good day. The most is 16 on one day and I have no clue as to why it happened. It was a nice surprise.

So? What was your best membership day? :jiggy:

I got 72 members in one day on my website, I believe. I may have been 2 days... I don't remember. I uploaded a video that people wanted, but in order to get to the link, they needed to register. I have since then removed that requirement.

206 was our high. We're averaging about 50 new signups a day right now.

Most new members in one day: 12. Normally, it's about three or four.

Threads: 9,942, posts: 147,492, members: 1,258 (members with zero posts are pruned if they haven't visited in two months.) The message board dates to 1998; it's been running vBulletin for the past three years.

Of those that have many new sign ups a day, are they active signups or just names that dont post or particpate in the board at all? Do you find it better to have a large quantity of members? Wouldnt you prefer fewer members who actually participate? :lildevil:

Back in August, when we launched Version 4 of the site I admin at, we had a total of 345 Registrations that day, now I wouldn't be suprised if we get one a day.

I have an average of 1-4 a day at CursedProphets...BlizzCenter is lucky to get one a week.

CursedProphets high - 13
BlizzCenter high - 6

BlizzCenter is almost a year old with the following stats:
Threads: 711, Posts: 4,590, Members: 130

CursedProphets is 6 months old and has the following stats:
Threads: 1,902, Posts: 5,629, Members: 210

CP is mostly a general topic forum and I haven't done any HEAVY advertising...or spent much money in that department YET. Is that a good number to have?

Oh, and on CP, Those totals are that high right now because of news bots...About 800 threads/posts from them. But wouldn't be that much lower because I accidentally deleted 300 threads and 1,000+ posts on a bad archiving incedent.

Everyone here is pretty damn lucky compared to me lol. My biggest is only 7 new members. But Writersmuster is becoming like a exclusive club then a forum.

I average around 4 registrations a day - not many I know, but I do have a good member base building up (we've only been online about a month) and with minimal advertising.
