Congrats to our latest feature forum administrator who has built a big board based on Manchester United fans.

What is the name of your website and a brief description of the theme/topic of the forums. What is the url?
utdforum : a generic Manchester United Fan Forum like no other.
We're a forum for Manchester United fans as opposed to a forum about Manchester United so there's lots of general chat.

List some of the most popular forums and describe its discussions.
The Main forum is by far the most popular but we have specialise gambling forums and other user created forums. One of the most popular ones is the Fred tissue Cooking challenge's forum which is basically a cookery competition between the members. We generally have a laugh.

What prompted you to start your forum? What was your launch date?
November 2006? I think!
Originally started as as the forum at was down a lot over a sustained period of time. We renamed to about 6 months ago.

not many, xcache is essential

two servers (not going into details) - still using apache but hope to ditch that in the summer

About 2000 - all new members are moderated as we don't like a lot of people especially fans from other clubs etc

How do you spend a typical day as admin on your site? What do you enjoy about your job as admin of your site/forums? Do you office in your home or in a separate office space away from your house?
Wasting time doing nothing, tinkering about with things. Insulting members. Having a laugh.

What has been the biggest obstacle you have faced in starting or running your forums? How did you/do you handle it?
Troublesome members trying to waste my time. needy people wanting to be my friend.
