So I was testing out registrations and noticed the email wasnt getting through, after more investigations have found it the following from in my emails:

host spf.mailsentinel.net [IP ADDRESS REDACTED]
SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data:
550 A URL in this email (DOMAIN NAME REDACTED) is listed on https://spamrl.com/. Please resolve and retry

I have since delisted it on this website: https://spamrl.com/delist/

but this only last for 7 days and then what am I meant to do? Also the emails go straight into SPAM folder and my site seems to be "untrusted" according to google (when in gmail)

on a random site note would/could implementing SSL help fix this issue?

(here is a similar thread with no answer: https://xenforo.com/community/threa...password-and-registration.107365/#post-999564

or do I need to move hosts or change IP address as its tainted?

Thanks any help is appreciated as obviously I need to be able to send emails out.

Useful link this, thanks, shows mine as pretty rubbish (51%) and what I need to do... explains why few of my own forum emails ever get through.

Well DMARC, DKIM and SPF should be green because it show that you take measures for spam.

I don't know how to configure this things too. All my e-mails go to spam folder.

But I'm willing to pay someone to make this happen for me.

Anyone?

Anyone?

Can you try to add the _dmarc to your dns. Its really simple. What control panel do you use cpanel, plesk or something else.

Likewise, what we need is a specialist in this who can reconfigure our emails and domains accordingly, for some jobs it's easier to pay some $$ and get it done properly than spend hours Googling and trying to learn it all.

fixer I have deactivated email validation some months ago; no detrimental affects as yet due to good spam controls in place already. However members do complain at PM and subscribed threads notifications not getting through. I also find the constant stream of bounces quite annoying ;)

If you have plesk as control panel then its very easy to get stuff done by your self because you need to use the search for dmarc, dkim and spf in plesk and enable it. There lots of tutorials that can help you, by doing this you will improve the percentage of https://en.internet.nl. The hard part is DNSSEC on plesk you will need to have plesk onyx web pro any other plesk you will need to buy an add-on.

cPanel should be easy to to setup dmarc, dkim and spf just look for tutorials its not hard to do just lots of reading.

One warning if you are going to mess with DNSSEC anything else then secured as status can render your site offline for some people so when doing this you need to be sure you can complete else you will need to remove all changes before you stop. I did this twice so for 2 x 1 hour my site was not available to all people. The third time i was done in 30 minutes and everything worked.

I have done all this on Virtualmin control panel.

I want to help or even do the changes but my disease makes it hard to do this.

My domain was on a black list, i had to file a petition and my host helped me get it off, there is a website you can go to to test your domain to make sure you are good, i forget the details and i have bot ready all this thread but thats all i know.

additionally for 6mths my site was un reachable on the east cost tried like hell to fix it ultimatly it just started working one day

Thanks everyone, some interesting comments, seems like I just need to soldier on and work through it over time.. :(

So in answer to one of my questions, the IP address can be more of an issue then the domain name, so can I just get my host to get me a new IP address?

Second questions doesnt enabling SSL help in any way as well?

thanks everyone.

SSL shows the people you care about security and many stuff is dependent on it Google likes it for example that you have SSL. With Let’s Encrypt its done in a few minutes most control panels support it its filling in some questions and you are done.

You need to petition the blacklist sites to remove the IP address from there list because you do not know if new IP is tainted.

Yes its hard work to get to 100% at https://en.internet.nl when the heat wave is over here in the Netherlands i am willing to take a peak and see what i can do for you, i can not promise 100% but i can try to get it as high as possible.

of course any help would be appreciated. (a lot!) but certainly you are under no obligation to help me, as my forum is brand new so I do have some time to sort this issue out as we are not technically open yet, not for a couple of months I would say.

Well its not much work if you know how, only dnssec is hard. If you have IPv6 address that would help a lot.

If you don't have SSL / TLS enabled, then every visitor to the site will get a big ugly "Not Secure" thing in the urlbar, and every-time they go to login, they will get a message telling them that the site is not secure and that their credentials could be compromised.

If we're talking emails, then there are plenty of email forwarders / providers which don't support connections without TLS at all. If they do, don't expect it to work properly.
