been an iphone user for a long time , since you had to have att to have one :D

and i just learned something new today and thought i would share

How to close all tabs at once in safari

  1. Open up Safari.
  2. Long press on the "Tabs" icon denoted by two squares. On iPhones, it's at the bottom of the browser in portrait mode or at the top in landscape mode. On the iPad, it's at the top.
  3. Select Close All Tabs.
share something that others may not know!

how about erase your text by shaking the phone like an etch-a-sketch? did everyone know that one?

Accidentally I knew that but not using it.
Rather backspace and type everything from that point again.

Why in the hell do you have 94 tabs open? I realize that porn sites have a tendency to spawn additional tabs - frequently in the background - on some phones... but 94 open tabs? That's a tad bit excessive on a phone.

Your phone isn't your desktop.....and it's very simple to control the number of open tabs. I'm assuming you are using Safari so press on the 2 boxes on the right and start closing some.

If you haven't tried it, check out the 'Memories' tab in the photos app.

It's a great way of reliving events, holidays or any selection of photos and videos that you like.

It automatically generates a video combining still photos, live photos and snippets of video to create a highlight reel of those events.

I've used it to create some quite moving stuff to share with some of my older relatives who adore the results.

Safari is already in the iOS
What a boring life only using installed apps... ;)
Chrome builds on top of the IOS engine .... I just prefer it over Safari, and I'm on a Mac at the house and use Chrome there also. The big bad Google Monster isn't really a concern for me.

People browse the internet on a phone ?

In gods name why would you use something so small. It must be a dreadful experience ..........
Mine's not exactly small. I usually do it while traveling from one stop to another. Got in the habit when my iPad wasn't set up for 4g/LTE but only wifi and many places we've been the wifi isn't handy.

Yeah, not everyone is lucky enough to be retired yet, or work from home, or have a boss who allows surfing online.
