We noticed the rate and quality of people's contributions and multitasking prowess drastically decreased when they login from mobile (mobile apps worsened those figures further). Even for the same users, their contributions from desktops and laptops far exceeded theirs performed from mobile.
Between reactions, oneliners and unformatted links and proper well-thought out long posts, I think the choice is easily made. It's fine for content to be consumed on mobile in an optimized form, but content production itself requires access from a proper computer, regular access to which is now a staffing criteria made particularly strict for leadership positions and writers.
