How do I fix this?

So some of the members on my forum pointed out that if people don't have avatars then when they post then it looks messy as you can see by the yellow arrow. Any idea on how to fix it? I'm using Mybb forum software.

Is the default Avatar option enabled in the settings? Make sure a default avatar is uploaded to images folder and the path is set right in the settings

I think Jason5 is right. I see the alt (text) attribute displayed instead of the default avatar. There's also some disparity between browsers i.e. Firefox displays just the alt attribute whereas Edge appears to append a graphic as per your screenshot.

In settings search for Avatar or in settings look for Profile category and look in it
