Hi,

I'm wondering why my site has experienced a big drop in index urls since I moved to BB4 in June. I made sure to setup url redirects (301) for all the old vB urls so that they redirect to the post using the newer BB4 url scheme. I figured I'd see some decrease but it's not improving. This site has been running vB 3.8 for almost 10 years so maybe I have to wait that long to recover?

A lot of threads i clicked on your homepage returned

Access denied. You are not authorized to view this page.

If you want your board to be indexed , you need to open content for guests. So maybe best is to check permissions

Your site runs on SSL and Google's Webmaster Tools will list different values for http://example.com and https://example.com. Your screenshot above shows the non-SSL URL which will report false values, you should add the SSL URL to see the correct index status.

Yes, some areas are restricted, but the same areas where restricted on vB before the move. So the same number of posts/threads are available and accessible now as before. No dns errors have been reported by Google and no errors. Crazy.

Good point, I do force all non-ssl traffic to ssl, I think it's a 301 redirect. You think I should add another entry in my Google webmaster console for the ssl url?

Exactly, it does not show any numbers once you switch over to full SSL, just adding the same domain - but this time with https:// - does the job.
