Going back to a submitted form leads to this error

I've been having this issue for more than a year now, and I need a hand getting it fixed.

Here's how to replicate what I'm experiencing:

1) Go to https://biology-forums.com/index.php?action=search

2) Search something, for example, "test"

3) Click any of the search results

4) Once in the topic thread, click "back"

Boom, you're faced with the error below ?



It's not just this search form, but all search forms on this specific website.

I believe it's possibly a server problem, because other SMF websites with the same version as mine work as they should on other servers.

It doesn't happen to me with Edge and Opera.

Works for me in Safari/iOS.

I forget exactly where in 1.1 but in SMF’s options, there is “allow the user to go back to cached pages”, is that ticked or not? I’d say use the admin search but that’s a 2.0 feature.

I can't replicate it in Firefox.

Does the same thing happen if you log out first?

Thank you for your responses.

I have a bad habit of not deleting my browser history, 2019 was the last time it was purged! So after trying this with several other devices (and browsers), I couldn't replicate the problem. Hence, I am assuming it's a browser cache problem involving Chrome that isn't worth stressing over. But I still don't intend on deleting my browser history
