Facebook or Twitter to promote your blog?

Both are very effective but Facebook has more users. Twitter is more effective at posting status based posts though.

I always say this, aim for as many social media websites as you can. But if you really want to go for one, go for facebook over twitter or google.

It totally depends on the blog niche you have. However, I think Facebook is the more engaging platform than Twitter as it gives better results.

I agree. It really depends on the theme/niche your blog is. But usually it's the more platforms you use - the more you get. Or at least you'll know what works best for you.

Each is as effective as the other. However, Facebook offers groups and pages alike to whole different topics which makes it easier for you to promote your blog to the right target audience(s).

Once I get my blog back up I am going to use both FB & Twitter. I will also be using forums and anything else I can find to promote my site.
