The old nursery rhyme baa baa black sheep
did you know...

The first song to ever be digitalized on a computer

suppose to have ties to taxation and slavery

Our Culture is so damn sensitive that they are trying to remove this from our history

if the song sounds familiar its because they copied it for twinkle twinkle little star and the ABC’s song

The more you know about our history the more you will be willing to protect it

Ba Ba Black Sheep is neither connected to slavery nor taxation, both are modern "theories" that have floated around since the 1980s but never been proven.

The first song using a digital synthesized human voice is Daisy Bell, aka Daisy or A Bicyle Built for Two. The movie 2001: A Space Odyssey honored this by using the song as the one HAL 9000 sang as he was being shut down.

The first known recording of a song produced by a computer (which is not the same as digitized) contains 3 songs: Ba Ba Black Sheep, In the Mood and God Save the Queen. These were not digitized songs, but rather tones played by the computer. The first song played this way by computer is unknown, but those 3 are the old known recordings.

The first song digitized (known as sampled these days) is unknown.
