Hello dear people,

Following the subject of this section, I'm entering in this trend too.

If you guys have any interest in me or my country, please, feel this thread like a home.

I always tend to say that I'm brazilian because as i can see, many people think my country and culture is "exotic", compared to Europe or United State, and maybe this can set some kind of curiosity.

So, anything: personal opinions, culture, politics, stuff about my country and me, let's go!

When Brazilians communicate with people from neighbouring countries, do they generally use Portuguese, Spanish or English?

Does Brazil have any sort of relationship with other Portuguese-speaking countries/territories beyond just the common language? Do you get TV shows, films, books from these places at all? Do people from Brazil travel to these places much?
