One of my user faces 504 Gateway Time-out error frequently and he has reported the incident to me. I checked with my host and they say there is no error in their side. How to solve it, should i switch my host or ask my host to do something to get rid of this error.

That is really hard to say and all depends on why the server is not responding. But making sure the server is up to date in all regards and well configured is a good idea.

Performance with my new host is very good and the data centre is in Singapore. I am very happy with the change

I sniffed the headers briefly, it seems to be using Litespeed with a quic alt-svc on port 443?
