We've been using Threadloom Newsletter since the beginning and couldn't be happier with the results. For the price it's a steal. And the company behind it has genuine stated ethics and values. I've been managing our community since 1998, and am so pleased with Threadloom.
Wow, has this been an INCREDIBLY easy solution and win for our site (and our community... and our revenue)!!! Our previous solutions (addons, scripts, Amazon SES, etc. etc. etc.) were a mess and a total pain to manage. That was just on the tech-side. The newsletter curation process was another nightmare all it's own.
Now we can pretty much "set it and forget it" as much or little as we want. We've also had great success selling sponsored newsletter insertions, and we use the custom HTML insertion in the TL interface.
SUPER easy to use and very affordable! Support has also been excellent.
Brilliant solution! In fact, there was a time when we mistakenly disabled the addon and our users were "forced" to use "enhanced search) and quickly stated (complained?) that they wanted the ThreadLoom search back.
We've been using Threadloom Search for years. Our users love it, and we've had nothing but good vibes and interactions with Threadloom. I don't have hard data to back it up, but I'm confident our users are finding much more relevant information, and finding it easily :)
We've been with Threadloom since their beginnings back in 2016 and the team has been a pleasure to work with. It is refreshing to see a company focussed on making the forum experience relevant in the social media era. Threadloom search returns better results than the native or Elastic search, and everything is handled in the cloud taking a huge search strain off our servers. Highly recommend giving it a try!
