Shouldnt the Thumbs Up be 'Agree', and the Tick be 'Like' though ?

Oh yeah, I refreshed so darn hard Chrome was begging me to stop. But I just kept doing it and doing it, harder each time, but the browser just wouldn't give me that darn useful reaction.

So I gave up and tried Firefox and gave it the same beating. Still nothing.

In the end neither browser is putting out, and on a Friday night no less. Pffft.

Same here, and only on mobile. Works fine on desktop.

Maybe we wanted to have a conversation around your disagreements instead of just using clicking a button. This is a community, and a safe space to share ideas.

That's just one theory though.

You dont have to agree with someone to have a conversation, you have the agree button so why wouldnt you have the disagree button? This forum isnt facebook and I would like to have thought participating in conversation on this forum would be encouraged not discouraged. I am not quite sure where you are going saying this is a "Safe space to share ideas" I would call this a public forum when people can agree and disagree but still remain civil, ideas can be shared weather people agree or disagree. This whole safe space stuff does my head in to be honest, if you cant handle other people disagreeing with your opinion on a forum then you probably shouldnt be on it. If you cant handle people disagreeing with your post then dont post.

This forum has rules and people need to follow them, they need to be civil. As for calling this forum a safe space I think you are underselling its actual value, it actually demeans the forum to be honest. I see "safe spaces" at universities etc as nothing more then a place that people can go to and hide and be in their own echo chamber because they are upset someone disagrees with them and then they take it personally. Well I have news for these people, when you get out in the real world with a real job its a lot different. Reminds me of Trump derangement syndrome... :)

on a good note I can see the disagree button has been put in - so now you can all disagree with this post and I promise not to get offended.

:)

ps silent hand clap.

I somewhat expect someone to disagree with this post (lol), but disagree invites a certain sort of intellectual laziness, people hit "disagree", but they never bother to explain why they disagree. It kind of irks me.

I don't have a huge problem with the reaction itself, especially as we already have dislike.

This is what I have....

sdfgadsf.PNG

Latest Chrome Browser, running Windows 10, in Australia, South Australia, the time here right now is 6:24PM, I just cooked a Chargrill (Hamburgers, Beef, brioche buns) and am watching Kung Fu Panda 2 on TV with the kids right now. I hope that additional info helps solve this mystery. :) :)

Good luck Obiwan, your our only hope.

So someone can "win" in a discussion with supporting evidence and sound views, but the one with the internet points comes out the real winner.

If I'm reading you correctly doesn't that come down to 'length of service' which in itself has some virtue?

Back on topic I've also got a space at the beginning the sprite list so I don't see the star (FF/Windows10).

And just to add, although I see both sides and I rarely if ever use it, I welcome being disagreed with providing there's a posted explanation. After all I can't be right all of the time can I?

I disagree, you can be right all the time.

But then if I disagree with you, then you arent right all the time, so then I am wrong....

I have no space, cache issue maybe for your browser?

The missing 'useful' icon has revealed itself while I've been away... ?

I have to say I'm really missing the option to 'agree' with a post whereas 'useful' and 'informative' seem to be too similar to choose between?
