Integration to Discord is done and it is awesome

We have completed bridge to discord and created channels for all 50 states.

We can pull new threads, posts, calendar events etc etc etc right into our discord.

We have not announced it on the site yet because we are setting up calendar events for all the states to meet on the chat server.

Jaxel has one, which is good, I use it. I think Nixfifty has one, there might be another one too.

I'll eventually try this on my local motorcycle community

I'll simply get rid of all (or most) forums.
Keep Pages, Gallery, Calendar (major part of site), etc.

Discord is better at communicating, especially real-time, has voice, notifications, etc.

And people will use their accounts for the gallery & to RSVP to events.

Win-win really.

I don't see Discord as the enemy. If it works better and users like it (we already have an active Discord) then why not give the people what works?

Can you back up a discord site if it all goes pear shaped? And also do discord monitor the types of sites? can they ban particular sites if they become politically active like most successful IT companies of late? Is this a risk?
