There will be an option in the AdminCP.

Most questions like this can be answered with Google or looking at the MyBB help files etc.

If you post a thread for every question you have with MyBB - I'll turn suicidal.

The "Board Online / Offline" feature is already there for switching your forum off for maintenance reasons or similar.

AdminCP > Configuration > Board Setting > "Board Offline / Online" > Yes > Save!
