I've not added it to any of my phpBB forums but I would add it in the language file lang_main.php, either:

$lang['Account_added'] = 'Thank you for registering. Your account has been created. You may now log in with your username and password';

or

$lang['Account_active'] = 'Your account has now been activated. Thank you for registering';

Depending on if you require a confirmation email. Make sure you \ out any quotation marks in the google code or it probably wont work... ie \" instead of just "

Anyone still struggling with adding Google Adwords Conversion tracking code to a phpbb forum?

I've managed to successfully add the Javascript snippet for the Google Adwords Conversion Tracking Code to a phpbb forum. Please note I'm using Google Adwords to drive people to post messages onto a phpbb forum and that is the conversion I'm measuring (conversion type is signup).

Unfortunately it's 1:38am GMT and it's too late for me to bother typing out all the instructions now but if anyone still wants to know how to do this then drop me an email and I'll be happy to put together some notes for you.

Cheers
Duncan
