Photo gallery to increase traffic?

Hi, i'm having a board with around 6k member base and increasing 20 members everyday. i really need to increase the traffic and member base in a faster pace. i've thought of installing a photo gallery, do you think in general that extra function will help?

my board is girl related, so they can post their makeup photo, shopping, vacation, etc.

One does not commonly add such a feature as an arcade, gallery, or blog list for the sole purpose of traffic. They do it because it first serves the needs and interests of their community. If your site is for "girls" (or possibly women), then perhaps you should ask the 6000 of them what they would DO with the gallery, rather than telling them what it's supposed to be FOR. If they come up with things like make-up and fashion, and you see a lot of them using it, then they will tell their friends, link to it, and your traffic will increase. As it can eat heavily into your bandwidth and server space, a gallery should have concrete purposes before it is deployed.
