Default SMF portal question.
I browsed the forum a bit and did a little research but found nothing concluent, so, here's my question:

I heard there was a kind of a built-in portal in SMF, is it true? If yes, how can I activate it?

I never used SMF before today (just finished the installation about 15-20 minutes ago) and after browsing the options and stuff in the admin, can't find anything that look like a portal option.

Thanks, guys and gals.

No portal is built.
The most popular portal is Tiny Portal from tinyportal.net

There are a couple of others as well:

LSP Enigma 2 - Currently only works with SMF 1.0.x, this is the SMF version of an extremely popular YaBB SE portal. Quite powerful with lots of great features.

YAP (Yet Another Portal) - This one is relatively new. Don't know anything about it.

MkPortal - This is a third-party portal. It also works with IPB, vB and phpBB. Lots of features.
